In an effort to keep the beautiful waterways of Alabama pristine for the public to enjoy, Birmingham Legion FC is excited to announce that it is partnering with a pair of non-profit organizations for its first ever River Cleanup project!
In conjunction with Cahaba River Society and Black Warrior Riverkeeper, Legion FC will host outings for the public to spend a fun-filled morning in the great outdoors to ensure that the respective rivers remain refreshing and safe for many more years to come. The first cleanup date is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30 at the Cahaba River, followed by Friday, November 1 at the Black Warrior River. Full details with the meet-up locations can be found below.
Legion FC cares about its community and would like to invite its fans to join us this fall to help us protect and perfect these two great rivers in the Birmingham area. Those that are interested in partaking in the River Cleanup can fill out the form below. Registration and participation is free.
